Christmas is still a few months away, but if we want to do everything with our own hands, we have to start working on it now.
With this cardboard Christmas house we start our Christmas 2021 series. We will be sharing practical ideas to decorate your home this Christmas.
Materials and Tools
- Paperboard.
- Foamy (fomi, eva rubber). Cream, red and white.
- Green and white felt.
- Paper masking tape.
- Red acrylic paint.
- Red pearl necklace. Flat pearl mesh.
- Beads for red and green necklaces.
- Imitation Rhinestone Crystals or a golden pearl for the door.
- Plastic or acetate box.
- Silicone bars.
- Liquid silicone.
- Cotton.
- Pencil, brush, scalpel. Scissors, glue gun.
Step by Step
The first thing you should do is download the templates. To do this, go to Crafts and DIY - Downloads or click here to go directly to the download page.
Once you have the templates, you transport them the front, back and side pieces to the cardboard, and the door and windows to the white cardboard. For this you can help yourself with carbon paper.
Since you have all the pieces cut out. cover the edges of the door and windows with masking tape. Paint them with red acrylic paint.
When the paint is dry, you cover the pieces with foamy (Eva rubber). The front and back are in two colors. White on the top and cream on the bottom.
Use a scalpel to trim the door and windows.
Place the door and windows and decorate each piece before assembling the house.
